Ahhhh, no worries! It's not too late for Class of 2009 senior pictures! So RJ, here we go! What a handsome young man! It was my pleasure to capture momentous images of him for him and his family to remember.

This is the Board members of Kindred Souls Foundation - a foundation dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of dogs and cats in Western Washington. The dog with them is Wiley, a dog who lived and lay dying on the streets in Taiwan. Wiley was originally rescued by ART (Animal Rescue Team - Taiwan) and they transported him to WA where KSF took over. Kelly and Brian, KSF founders, adopted him themselves. You can see his story here - Oh what an amazing recovery!

Here's Evann - a very pretty senior girl in Tacoma. Once we got warmed up (it's not always warm here in spring, you know!), we got some great images, as you can see here.

Riley, Riley, Riley! What a handsome boy he is! And oh what fun I had capturing his spirit. No doubt he will be a calendar boy. He was rescued and adopted by a volunteer of Kindred Souls Foundation.

I got some fun happy pictures of Sable, a senior Amstaff. Sable was rescued long ago from an animal shelter and has been living in the Bonney Lake area with her "dad" Warren.

Ok, NOW I got some really adorable ones of Iggy. He's available for adoption, btw! 4.5 lbs and full of love and joy. Approx. 2 yrs old, poodle mix (we think mixed with Papillon because of the ears), and he doesn't shed! Iggy's a surviving puppy mill dog.

Emilee braved the cold for her senior pictures. Such a pretty girl and I loved that she was open to exploring a location I'd not used yet. Fun fun! On the bottom is how one might look as a gallery wrap canvas. Love those.

This image was a recent re-order from Katie's senior session a few years ago. I liked it so much I wanted to post it here. This is Katie and her beloved horse Jewel.

Updated: Here are a few more pics of Iggy in a more "formal" setting:

Iggy is the most adorable little 3lb boy. He's a puppy mill survivor and is being fostered by me. :) He is believed to be a toy poodle papillon (or maybe chihuahua) mix. He's most definitely happy to be away from that horrible place and living a good life now. If I can bear to part with him, he's available for adoption.

The last two images are of him bolting around the yard. Yay, he can run now!

Here's Latte (pronounced Lottie), a survivor of one of the dreadful puppy mills that's shutting down. She's a beautiful petite little cavalier - maybe 8-10 lbs that I'm fostering. She's coming around and is such a joy. Contact Ginger of Ginger's Pet Rescue if you're interested in fostering or adopting one of these sweethearts. gingerluke@comcast.net

Here's a beautiful family from Tacoma and on such a coooold winter day! I really love the look of this image. Dealing with the cold made it all worth it! It will make a great wall portrait and family memoir.

Otis, is a beautiful pit bull terrior that's in need of a responsible, loving, and active home. He's so so playful and needs a good packleader to give him the amount of exercise he needs and discipline, and of course, then comes affection! He's about 10 months old. Please contact Kindred Souls Foundation if interested in finding out more about Otis.
